The strategy for the AGB Club is to offer Gaelic games as a sport, in an atmosphere of fun and learning to all individuals in an environment of inclusiveness.

In the South Wicklow areas, there is a very competitive sporting environment including clubs offering basketball, rugby, soccer, athletics, swimming and water sports.

Despite this diversity of available activities there is significant level of non participation in any sporting activity – statistics suggest that as high as 60% of children in certain age groups choose not to avail of any of these sports.
