Under 8 Go Games Match
Although the heavens opened last Friday, 24 eager young players togged out in their AGB tracksuits (cheers Paul), and their parents made their way to Avondale for their second away match in the Go Games Series. Our Under 8's played fantastically, giving as good as they got, holding their own against An Tochar and giving Avondale a run for their money.
Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, each team of our teams only got to play one match, a matter which we are currently addressing, so those who only played one half will be first out in the next round. Also because of weather conditions we could not take any pictures, we'll be looking for some good "action" shots to post on the AGB website from our home game, so get practicing!!!.
A special thank you to the parents who came along in the appalling weather, supported, assisted and encouraged from the side line, with 24 enthusiastic players it can be "challenging" keeping your on everything.
All in all, the boys played brilliant, we're so proud of them, they have made great progress, and despite the weather we all had a good time and are looking forward to hosting our first Go Games round on the 24th of April.
