Friday the 4th of June saw the sun blaze down on Pearses Park when AGB under 8’s & 10 hosted their second blitz in the Go Games series with Eire Og, St Pats and Barndarrig providing the opposition.
The Under 10’s played five games each and as the season progresses you can see the strength and skill of all the young players increasing. AGB Under 10’s had over 40 players and they were divided into three teams.
AGB Blue’s played extremely well losing just one game to St. Pats, outstanding for the team were Keith, Tomás, Brian F & Daniel.
AGB Green’s won all their games playing exceptionally well were Ben F, Sean, Liam Moore. AGB Numbers team managed by Monica Jameson put up another fine display of football with Ryan T, Karol and Conor J as usual providing a fine performance.
The Under 8’s also had a massive turnout for their home blitz as they played 3 games each on the lower pitch, with some amazing talent on show. After the games all the players, coaches, referees and parents enjoyed refreshments and light banter in the evening summer sun laid on by AGB parents which we would like to thank very much for their help.
