Sunday was a beautiful day for a game of football , sunshine galore. Our Senior Ladies were out against Carnew. The ladies started off slowly in the first half, but came into their own in the second half. Carnew were a tough side and put a real fight but Arklow were vitorious on a scoreline of 6-4 to 1-9. Christine Byrne had a great game , winning the ball all over the field. Becky Condren also made some essential saves in goal. Two midfielders Niamh Arthur and Ailbhe Carney also contributed well to the game. Well done girls!
